The new feature within Mystery Gift is Wild Area News. However, they don't provide many details anymore beyond what the event was and when yo received it There's no need to remove them from your album anymore. The cards are stored in the Card Album and you can keep track of every single event you have ever received in the game save. This card holds the details of the distribution. When you download an event, you will be given a special Wonder Card. This time, however, once there's a reward for Ranked Battles or Online Competitions, you can obtain it directly from the Internet

In previous games, when you participate in Online Competitions you would have to log into the Global Link to get a Serial Code to then redeem. There are also special Codes which are shared by all players so they can use the same code to receive the PokГ©mon being distributed. This Serial Code can only be used once and needs to be entered into the form to be received. Various distributions will be given where you will get a Serial Code. The next way is another which requires the Internet. This feature allows for you to get the event distribution from home. From time to time, various events will be held online to celebrate various things such as anniversaries or product releases. Get from Internet is one of the more commonly used features. This will allow for the Wonder Card to be downloaded. When you go to these events, simply go to this feature and wait for the game to connect.

The Get From Local Communication is the feature that is predominently used when events are being physically held such as at PokГ©mon Centers in Japan or at National Championships. This time, rather than having to get the gift from a person in the PokГ©mon Center, they'll just be put automatically into your PokГ©mon Box or inventory. These are all used in order to retrieve various events and the methods used depends on the location and type of the event.

When you enter Mystery Gift and go to Get A Mystery Gift, you will be presented with four different options on how to proceed.

You will see three different options in the main Mystery Gift menu Get a Mystery Gift, Get the Wild Area News and Take a Stroll with the PokГ© Ball Plus You will, however, need to have obtained the PokГ©dex in the game before you can use the Mystery Gift feature. This will allow you to easily be able to get Mystery Gift and be able to access the gifts when they come. Instead, the Mystery Gift feature is available on the menu immediately. Like in the past threee Generations, Mystery Gift is not unlocked by any special password. It is commonly used to allow for the distribution of events for both PokГ©mon and Items and will continue to be prominently used Mystery Gift Mystery Gift is a feature that has gradually become more and more frequently used.
